How to choose
- For a beach lifestyle and investment: Al Mouj, Muscat Bay and Yiti.
- For golf and quick airport access: Muscat Hills.
- For central city living: Qurum, Shatti Al Qurum and Madinat Sultan Qaboos.
- For value and space: Al Mabela, Seeb, Al Hail and Al Amerat.
- For a brand-new planned community: Sultan Haitham City.
- For history and character: Muttrah and Old Muscat.

Commuting
Most offices are in the central belt between Qurum, Al Khuwair and Ghubrah, and in the airport area. From Al Mouj or Muscat Hills, central Muscat is about 20 to 30 minutes outside rush hour; from Yiti or Muscat Bay about 30 to 40 minutes. Morning traffic towards the centre is the main factor to plan around.
